Grant Musgrove
A native of Birmingham, Grant graduated from W.A. Berry High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in communications with a minor in journalism from Auburn University. He has worked for Alabama Power Company for the past 12 years in public relations, communications and advertising. Currently Grant works as the Environmental Affairs Specialist, spreading the word about the company’s commitment to preserving Alabama’s natural resources. On the weekends, Grant freelances camera work for major television networks.
Grant’s love of high-altitude mountaineering has taken him all over the world. In 2007, Grant climbed Mt. Everest on an expedition to 23,000 feet, through the Khumbu Icefall and into Camp 2. An avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout, his passion for hiking, camping, mountain biking and kayaking have led him to many wonderful wild places in the U.S. He also enjoys riding and racing motorcycles, playing the guitar and spending time with his Siberian Husky, Denali.
